That said, in my experience as a University Place real estate professional, I’ve also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This is our first home purchase, and I am very thankful to have worked with Steve! When I contacted him and scheduled a time to view a house he didn’t hesitate to show us several more the same evening at last minute. He got right in with flashlight to point out different wiring and things to look out for. We put in our first offer and right away Steve got to work with the offer accepted the very next day! He is pleasant and responsive no matter what time of day/night contacted. He was able to negotiate with the seller to get us a new roof and has good relations with other in the business. Very pleased with his recommendations for inspectors and he took the time to explain how different loans work with different houses on the market. I couldn’t have asked for a more positive experience, highly recommended!
Wonderful experience working with Steve! We are first time home buyers, and he always made time to answer our questions, point out things to look out for during home tours, provided great recommendations for inspectors, and even kept us up to date on what was happening and what to expect next. He was responsive early mornings through late evenings, very quickly got our offer and successful in negotiating with the seller. Steve is a realtor, but you find out quickly that he’s your realtor. Steve is very personable. He is also very knowledgeable. He showed us plenty of houses and took time and asked questions to get to know what we wanted and needed most in a house, helping us weed through the options to refine our search until we found the house we love. He’s an expert of not only real estate, but the entire home-buying process (offer, inspection, second offer, contractors, etc.) He proved himself adept and effective in negotiating a great deal for us. From day one until signing (and after) Steve was there, and I always felt like he was working to get me the best deal and to make the process as easy on me as possible. If this house isn’t my forever home, I will work with him in the future to find another home.
