This is our first home purchase, and I am very thankful to have worked with Steve! When I contacted him and scheduled a time to view a house he didn’t hesitate to show us several more the same evening at last minute. He got right in with flashlight to point out different wiring and things to look out for. We put in our first offer and right away Steve got to work with the offer accepted the very next day! This was for whatever reason a very difficult sale. Seemed everything that could go wrong with the sale of our home did go wrong. Throughout it all, Steve remained cheerful, positive and upbeat. I am sure he even talked me off a ledge once. He never lost his sense of humor and helped us to see that everything would be ok. When we moved out of state before we could get the house sold, Steve kept tabs on the house, checking things out after a particularly nasty wind storm. He even took the time to secure one of the patio roof panels that the wind had blown lose so we would not lose it while we waited for our contractor to be able to get there and resecure it.

When I first met Steve I he was very friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He came with a game plan on how he was going to sell our house. We agreed on how important communication is to selling the house. Steve walked the property with me and took many pictures for the posting. He listened and offered several ideas on how to stage the house and property. Once the house was listed, we had several offers in just the first day. The offers were for different loan types and Steve explained which one may work better for us and why. During the negotiation process and after the inspection was completed, Steve explained what he thought I should take care of myself and what would be better to let a licensed professional complete. Steve negotiated with the potential owners and the lender on what we would fix and what would be left for the professionals. I was very satisfied on what he was able to negotiate and what was agreed on. Steve took the time to help with the RSS report from the county on the septic system. He filed it and paid for it out of his pocket until we were able to repay him after the house sold. Steve also made phone calls locating local contractors to give a quote to complete the work to be done on the house when he didn’t have to. Steve returned my calls, text messages and emails in a timely fashion considering we were not his only client. I felt he treated us like we were though. He called me back early in the mornings and late at night when I know he had to have been at home with his family, and I truly appreciated that. I would recommend Steve to anyone without hesitation when it comes to selling a home. I was impressed on how he did his job, when others I had hired in the past didn’t do half of what Steve was able and willing to do. He is what I believe a realtor should be like. Excellent job Steve.
